RDM Chambers was established in 2015 by Rhory David McNamara to provide focused legal services and advice to the offshore clients of McNamara Corporate Services Inc., a St. Lucia licensed and regulated offshore corporate service provider. In addition, the Chambers provides specific corporate, property or rights of establishment related legal services and advice to overseas law firms, private & corporate clients.

As a small chambers with a specialized practice area we ensure a high quality, responsive service to all our clients.

Rhory McNamara, Principal

Mr. Rhory McNamara is a UK trained and qualified Barrister, having attended Bristol University where he studied and obtained an honors degree in law, followed by the successful completion of the bar exams at the Inns of Court School of Law in London.

Rhory was called to the UK bar and Saint Lucia bar in the summer of 2000 and from 2000-2007 Rhory practiced as a junior attorney at the family law firm of McNamara & Co. under the stewardship of his grandfather the late Desmond McNamara Q.C., CBE, his father Stephen McNamara CBE and his uncle Anthony McNamara Q.C. In 2007 Rhory was made a partner of the firm with responsibilities for the areas of banking law, corporate law and corporate / private conveyancing.

In 2000 Rhory also started and acted as the Managing Director of McNamara Corporate Services Inc. which ultimately resulted in his decision to establish his own chambers to provide tailor made service and support to select cliental and those clients utilizing the services of McNamara Corporate Service Inc.

Rhory sits on the board of a number of prominent private & public companies both in St. Lucia and abroad and has been the president of the St. Lucia Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities since 2003.

Rhory is a certified private pilot and qualified powerboat captain who actively pursues both disciplines in his spare time.


Charon Gardner-Hippolyte - charongardner@yahoo.co.uk

Mrs. Charon Gardner-Hippolyte is a UK trained and qualified Barrister, having attended Anglia Ruskin University where she obtained an honours degree in Law followed by successfully completing the professional bar qualifications at Inns of Court School of Law.

Charon also has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, Canada and a Masters in Legislative Drafting from the University of the West Indies.

Charon was called to the Bar in 2002 and after a year and a half in private practice, she joined the office of The Director of Public Prosecutions as a Crown Counsel until 2007. She was subsequently appointed as a Magistrate in the Family Court, and the First and Second District Courts until October, 2013.

Charon was also Registrar of Civil Status and Registrar of the Supreme Court, performing the dual role until February 2016. Thereafter, she continued as Registrar of the Supreme Court until May, 2019.

Charon briefly left the jurisdiction of the courts to be the Director of the Performance Management and Delivery Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister responsible for tracking targets for the Medium-Term Development Strategy in six key results areas.

Finally, prior to joining RDM Chambers she was also Master at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the period May 2021 to August 2022.

In her spare time Charon loves to run and swim and has completed both a marathon and a triathlon. She is also learning Korean in her spare time.
